Very interesting report has been published recently by Reitzel RA and colleagues. They show use of catheter lock solution which is able to eradicate the biofilm formed by bacterias on CVC.
An interesting paper by Somani MP et al. can be found here. HSCT far more likely to be relevantly clinically active in MS than other drugs.
Very interesting study has been published recently. It is a meta analysis that shows that transparent polyurethane dressing might be inferior to gause dressing when it comes to the prevention of CVC infections. The study can be found here: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/27144903
