Autologous cord blood… in aplastic anemia

I am not a fan of private cord blood banking. However there are some new interesting things happening:

First, autologous cord blood can be used with sucess in aplastic anemia:

Second, the concept of hybrid banking – auto/allo cord blood where people pay partially for storage but the cord blood can be used for other patients, is appealing:
